How to clear security quickly
This is not going to tell you how to get contraband through security. Quite the opposite. By observing a few simple and common sense guidelines you should never have a problem.
Do not attempt to take anything through that you should not. If found, not only will you be in trouble but you will make them mad. This is really not a good way to start a trip.
Have a look at internet sites to see what is allowed through customs, if you are going to be going through more than one airport, take the most conservative route.
Be organized. Have your liquids in the required zip lock bag. Have it ready to be inspected. Rummaging around will hold up the queue, make the officials and other passengers irate and make you flustered.
If you have to carry a large quantity of prescription medication with you, have a prescription from your Doctor. But even non prescription drugs can be a problem in some countries. A quick check on the internet will prevent any problems.
Have your passport, tickets or boarding pass ready. Make sure you have your receipt for airport tax if applicable.
If you are found with anything you should not have with you and they want to confiscate it, let them. A fuss is pointless. It is the rule and they will win.
Be friendly. Those people stand for hours on end dealing with irritating passengers. They are really there for your safety. Greet them and smile. You will be surprised at how easy it becomes from then.
