Schiphol Airport
This airport is not your usual airport. At this airport you can get a message and a sauna and if you are the gambling type, there is even a casino. There is a wide variety of options for every traveler who passes through this airport. It is located in the Schiphol Plaza and is without the typical, separate terminals you would normally find. If you do go to the casino, know that they also offer nursery services to watch your kids so you can go play and so can your kids who will be needing that play time to unwind.
The Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Hotel is one of a few Amsterdam hotels nearby the airport for those just passing through. It is a short walk from the airport, just seven minutes by foot or you can catch a free shuffle bus that will take just two minutes.
Just a little further away is the Sheraton Airport Hotel and Conference Center with direct access to the airport arrival and departure halls. No taxi required or shuttle service because once you are off the plane, you have arrived at the Sheraton Hotel.
A nice feature of this airport of the flight viewing terrace where the locals and visitors can watch the planes depart and arrive. You will notice a few bars at this airport as well as various restaurants where you can experience international and domestic cuisine.
